Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church New Main Entry, Minneapolis. 2002; $1.7 million. Lead engineer in the design of a new three-story stone-clad entry tower and lobby added to an historic church.

Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church Steeple Evaluation, Minneapolis. 2024; price not known. Evaluated the steel armature within the 163’ tall metal-clad steeple. Climbed ladder within the steeple to video record in 360˚ the steel armature condition, signs of water intrusion and deterioration.

Shaddock St. Mary’s School Chapel, Faribault, MN. 2023; price not known. Evaluated the condition of the historic school stone bearing walls and wood-framed nave and side aisles roof structure.

House of Hope Bell Tower Reconstruction, House of Hope Presbyterian Church, St. Paul, MN. 2010; $2.5 million construction cost. Lead engineer to rebuild the 35’ decorative cornice and pinnacle of a 135’ tall limestone-clad unreinforced masonry bell tower; damaged due to differential steel/stone thermal expansion. Solution included the use of disc-springs to maintain required tension while allowing for differential thermal movement.

Gammelgarden Museum of Scandia’s Pastor’s House, Scandia, MN 2025. The evaluation of an 1868 rough-hewn log two-story home to determine its current strength to support high public loading as an exhibit for the museum. Resistance-drill technology, timber species analysis and grading were used to investigate the log walls, floors and roof strengths. <ADD IMAGE>
